A selection of photographs by late-capitalist era photographer Todd Legler, from the Museum Archives
A semi-nomadic photographer, designer, musician, clown, builder and activist, Legler documented life on the fringes of a collapsing civilisation. His restless gaze encompasses the severity of the degraded landscape, both beautiful and stark; the celebratory counter-culture of fringe music and theatre; and the strangely seductive aesthetic of the post-industrial wastelands in which he lived.
